Position Overview

Full Time: Monday-Friday

Location: Crossroads School; A program of Crossroads Continuum

Salary: Starting at $78,000 or more dependent on experience.

SIGN ON BONUS:

  • $4,000 over a 12 month period
    • $2,000- at 6 months of employment
    • $2,000- at 12 months of employment

 

Are you an SLP looking to work at a school with exceptional students ages 3-22 with autism and related disorders? 

 

We are a department consisting of six school based SLP’s using our expertise to empower our students to grow their communication skills and reach their potential. Crossroads School envisions a world where those with autism lead lives of hope and receive the education and clinical support needed to set aspirational goals and engage meaningfully with their family and community at all ages and stages of life. As a member of our SLP team, you will help students to achieve their goals and develop foundational and complex communication skills such as expressive and receptive language, pragmatics and social skills, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) proficiency.  

 

Providing individualized, comprehensive education and related services using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Crossroads School is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for individuals with autism.  

 

This is a full-time, 37.5 hour M-F position 7:30am-3:00pm. We offer 4.6 weeks of paid vacation a year built around typical school holidays/vacations.  Benefits also include generous sick and personal time as well as a medical, dental, vision and a competitive retirement fund package.  We are committed to your professional development including sponsoring participation in national and local conferences (e.g., ASHA) Our school is a private, non-profit day school approved by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE). We serve students ages 3-22 in a bright school environment. Our school year is 226 days.  

 

Requirements:  

Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program 
Strong communication skills, empathy, patience, and creativity 
Certificate of Clinical Competency/Massachusetts State License (Clinical Fellows welcome to apply)  
Knowledge and experience with ABA-based treatment and autism (Preferred) 
Knowledge and experience with programming and implementation of AAC systems (Preferred)
