Social Distancing Community Scavenger Hunt
Fun, Safe, and Local Community Event.
Sign up a team, climb in the car, and go for a 2-hour adventure in the local communities of the Corridor 9/495 Regional Chamber searching for clues to earn points. Clues will include local businesses, landmarks, and unique attractions in the Chamber’s towns of Westborough, Northborough, Shrewsbury, and Grafton.
All teams will be asked to adhere to the state laws and COVID-19 advisories including social distancing and wearing masks whenever necessary.
Register as a Team (all people must be in the same car)
Adults: $15.00 per person
Children (12 and under): $12.00 per person
Registration Fee Includes: 2 hours of safe social distancing fun hunting for clues, Boxed Lunch, and Multiple Chances to Win Prizes
Registration ends by Friday, June 26, at 7:00 pm.
Start by taking a picture of you and your team in your car and email to Kasee Clayton at email@example.com before 10:00 AM on Saturday along with your team name. Kasee will then post your picture on the Corridor 9/495 Chamber Facebook page.
After your team selfie is posted, and once the list comes out, you will continue to post pictures in the comment section of your team selfie post.
The scavenger hunt list will post on the at 10:01 AM! Use the list to drive around the towns of Westborough, Northborough, Southborough, Shrewsbury and Grafton hunting for businesses, landmarks, or unique attractions. Teams will have two hours to collect as many points as possible.
Take pictures of you and everyone in the car with each clue you find. YOU MUST ALL BE IN THE PICTURE FOR IT TO COUNT, BE CREATIVE! Some clues will have you get out of your car, so make sure you have your masks ready to go!
Elect one member of your group as the picture guru in charge of sending Kasee a picture of your team to start and then in the comments of your team photo will continue to post pictures of your team with the clues. Each clue will be worth a certain amount of points, because of how easy or hard it is to find. We will have volunteers monitoring your pictures, and then adding up your final score. Right at 12pm, you are done! We will count the points and let you know who won!
After the hunt is over at 12pm, you will head over to your final destination to pick up your boxed lunch. We will have volunteers wearing masks & gloves who will safely put the boxed lunches in the trunk of your car. Boxed lunch includes choice of sandwich (Italian, Turkey or Ham) chips, cookie & bottled water. The location to pick up the lunch will be confirmed with you prior to the hunt.
