Presenter: Attorney Jason M. Toomey is the founder of Intellestate Law, a single attorney Massachusetts firm focused on Intellectual Property and Estate Planning. With over 15 years of experience, Jason is passionate about helping his clients protect their innovations and their legacies. Before launching his own practice, he spent nearly a decade and a half leading patent prosecution for a Boston tech startup, where he built and managed a portfolio of over 300 patents.
Jason graduated summa cum laude from New England Law | Boston, where he was first in his class. With a background in Electrical Engineering, Jason is a registered Patent and Trademark Attorney with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). He’s gained extensive patent protection for a wide range of inventions, from electrical and mechanical engineering to software and business methods.
When he’s not working with clients, Jason is an enthusiastic SCUBA diver. On weekends, you can find him exploring the waters off the coast of Gloucester and Rockport, MA, or adventuring in Maine and Rhode Island. Jason brings the same energy and dedication to his law practice, working closely with each client to craft customized solutions that meet their needs.
