Julie Quinne

Mary Simone
General Manager at the AC Hotel by Marriott Worcester, brings more than 43 years of experience in the hospitality industry. As general manager, Simone is responsible for all phase of the hotel’s operations and management of personnel. Simone has held the position of general manager of the AC Hotel since March 2019. Prior to this position, Simone served as an area general manager for the Marlborough and Westborough Courtyard by Marriott for more than 20 years. Within the Marriott brand Simone has held numerous sales positions, including Director of Marketing for Westborough Marriott, Worcester Marriott as well as director of sales for Harrisburg Marriott in Pennsylvania. Simone has been honored by Marriott International as Director of Marketing of the Year in 1991 and Courtyard General Manager of Year 2001 and General Manager of 2019 for Colwen Hotels. Simone is an adjunct professor at QCC in the Hospitality Program. She is also the Chair of the Board of Directors for Discover Central Mass, board member for Downtown Worcester Business Improvement District. Alan Gulachenski
A successful business leader with a diverse background across industries, technologies, sales environments, and markets. Mr. Gulachenski is currently co-owner/operator of Nothing Bundt Cakes Shrewsbury MA. Location. In the past Gulachenski has held positions as CEO, President, Chairman of the Board, Vice President of Operations and Engineering for companies including NECCO Candy, Automation Engineering Inc, American Capital, Metropolitan Partners and SMART Modular. Mr. Gulachenski graduated from Northeastern University with bachelor’s degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. Mr. Gulachenski is developer or co-developer of 4 US patents.
Allison Chisolm

Finding the heart of the story has been a hallmark of Allison Chisolm’s work throughout her career. As founder and principal of Choice Words/Chisolm & Co., she has served as marketing strategist, public relations counselor and content writer for a variety of academic, healthcare and business clients since 1996. Collaborating with human resources professionals on communications challenges, she has featured employee stories in publications for the University of Massachusetts, Harvard University, Biogen, Siemens, Morgan Construction and Primetals Technologies. Extending her passion for writing about people a step further, she is the author of two biographies of Worcester luminaries – 19th century inventor and industrialist Charles Hill Morgan and 20th century education change agent William Grogan.
