11:30-12:00 noon - Registration/Networking Guest Speaker: Meghan Kilcoyne, State Representative There are few calls that can be more important than being a public servant. While several new female lawmakers were elected this year, observers say the Massachusetts House and Senate have a long way to go in terms of gender equality with 70% of lawmakers are men in the legislature. Join us to meet our June guest speaker, Meg Kilcoyne, who was the first woman to be elected in the 12th Worcester District in the Massachusetts House of Representatives in 2021. Rep. Kilcoyne will share her personal story and experiences, who inspired her to become a public servant, why does she think it is important for women to serve in these leadership roles, and what advice would she give to women interested in serving as a leader in public service.
