Flavia Cote is Executive Vice President at FR Investment Group, where she is known for her leadership, integrity, and dedication to team development and client satisfaction. With more than a decade at the firm, she has played a key role in its growth, culture, and long-term success. Since stepping into leadership in 2014, she has helped expand firm initiatives and co-founded the internship program, which mentors future financial professionals.

Originally from Brazil, Flavia brings decades of experience in retail and real estate, along with a global perspective and practical business insight. Whether supporting clients, guiding her team, or leading strategic efforts, she approaches her work with purpose, empathy, and a commitment to excellence.

Outside of work, Flavia enjoys golf, networking, and community involvement. She is married to Peter Cote and is a proud mother, stepmother, and devoted animal lover.

Peter M. Cote, CFP®, is President of FR Investment Group and brings more than three decades of financial services experience. He holds Series 7, 24, 63, and 65 securities registrations through LPL Financial and is licensed in AL, AZ, CT, FL, IL, MA, ME, MI, MS, NC, NH, NJ, NY, OH, PA, RI, SC, VA, and VT.

In 2002, Peter founded Financial Resources of CT, now FR Investment Group, building a boutique firm focused on integrity, professionalism, and client-centered service. Under his leadership, the Springfield-based firm expanded to Worcester, MA, Newton, MA, and Windsor, CT. He personally advises more than 1,000 households and 75 small businesses.

Peter is committed to financial education, community involvement, mentoring emerging advisors, and supporting UConn Men’s Hockey student-athletes. He co-authored A Consumer’s Guide to Finding a Financial Advisor and is an honors graduate of the University of Connecticut.

Paloma Damasceno is a bilingual legal and business professional with experience in client support, contract review, negotiations, and administrative operations. She began her career practicing civil and labor law in Brazil, handling legal research, contract drafting, case documentation, and dispute resolution.

In the United States, Paloma expanded into corporate operations and business development, managing supplier communication, international shipping documents, logistics coordination, payroll processing, and client-facing administrative support. Fluent in Portuguese, English, and Spanish, she is known for her professionalism, strong communication skills, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy in fast-paced environments.

Christine is an executive with experience across corporate, regulated, and founder-led environments. Her background includes operational leadership, client engagement, business development, marketing, and cross-functional coordination in settings requiring structured execution.

She has worked with high-value VIP clients, supporting engagement strategies informed by activity and performance data. Her experience includes budgeting, vendor oversight, internal documentation, and collaboration with senior leadership to ensure execution aligned with standards.

Christine is also the Founder and former CEO of a multi-state consumer services business she built from inception. She established the brand, operating framework, staffing model, and processes that supported expansion.

She holds a BS from the University of Connecticut, plus certificates in Project Management and Hospitality Management & Tourism.

Flavia V. McCaughey, CLTC, CDFA, serves as Vice President of FR Investment Group. A Boston University graduate with a degree in Business Administration/Finance, she joined the firm in 2015 and advanced from administrative assistant to Managing Director before assuming her current leadership role.

Flavia holds Series 7, 66, and 24 registrations through LPL Financial, is licensed in multiple states, and maintains life and health insurance licenses, AHIP Medicare Certification, CLTC, and CDFA credentials. She serves on the firm’s Investment Committee and as Delegate Principal, supporting strategic growth and client service.

She co-founded FR Investment Group’s internship program and helped launch Empower Financial Literacy, a financial education initiative recognized by BusinessWest and the Massachusetts State Senate. She is also active in community and professional organizations across business, philanthropy, and alumni engagement.
